AI
A reading engine that checks its own work.
Classic OCR gives you characters and a confidence score. That is not the hard part. The hard part is knowing when the reading is wrong — and ReadInvo uses the arithmetic already printed on the invoice to find out.

An invoice is more than text. It contains line items, quantities, prices, taxes, and totals that need to fit together. Turning it into a useful spreadsheet means connecting each value to the right field and row.
ReadInvo uses vision AI to read text and layout together, organising invoice details into structured data ready for Excel. Arithmetic checks flag discrepancies, such as a line total that does not match its quantity and unit price, so you can review them before exporting.
Fields the AI cannot read are left empty and flagged for review. You can check the extracted data alongside the original invoice, make corrections, and export when you’re ready.
From paperwork to practical data, you stay in control, with more time for what comes next.
ReadInvo, less typing, more opportunities.
AI-driven extraction, simplified
No setup to speak of
There is no rule builder and no template to draw. You upload a document; the model reads it. New suppliers are not new projects.
Accuracy you can check
Rather than asking you to trust a score, ReadInvo shows the arithmetic test it ran and the values that failed it.
Built for real paperwork
PDFs, scans, photos of folded paper, crowded tables and mixed-language invoices — the messy documents, not the tidy ones.
Under the hood
Read, test, re-read, then report.
-
1
Read the whole page
The model sees the entire page at once — headers, tables, tax lines and totals — the way a person would, instead of matching a fixed layout.
-
2
Run the document's own maths
Quantity × unit price against the line total; the parts against the printed subtotal, tax and grand total. The invoice is its own answer key.
-
3
Zoom in where it disagrees
When a number fails the test, ReadInvo goes back to that region at higher magnification and reads it again — the way you would lean in to re-read a digit.
-
4
Say what it does not know
A value it cannot read stays empty and is flagged. A page with nothing usable in it is marked as failed — and costs you nothing.
Honest limits
What the AI does not pretend to do.
A tool you can trust has to tell you where it stops. These are ours.
It will not invent a value
If a field is illegible or missing, it stays empty and gets flagged for review. A blank you can see is better than a number you cannot trust.
It will not guess your currency
Ambiguous currency symbols and ambiguous dates are surfaced as questions instead of being silently resolved.
It cannot fix a bad photo
Glare, blur and a page folded across the middle all cost accuracy. Flatten the page and light it evenly, and the reading improves immediately.
It is reviewed, not automatic
ReadInvo is designed for a person to confirm the result before export — not to push unreviewed numbers into your books.
Where it earns its keep
Finance & accounting
Supplier invoices and statements turned into clean rows for the ledger.
Logistics & receiving
Delivery notes and packing slips checked against what actually arrived.
Retail & wholesale
Price lists and supplier orders moved into spreadsheets and POS systems.
Small teams
Anyone who currently retypes invoices at the end of the month.
Questions about the AI
What model does ReadInvo use?
A vision-capable large language model. It reads the page image directly rather than relying on a separate OCR text layer. By interpreting text and layout together, it can connect quantities, prices and totals to the right line items—reducing errors that character recognition alone may miss.
Does it get better the more I use it?
It does not train on your documents. What improves is your workflow: reviewing a new supplier's first invoice is usually enough to trust the rest of that batch.
What if the arithmetic does not check out?
You get a visible flag on the affected line or total, with the numbers that disagreed. Some invoices genuinely do not reconcile — a discount line, a rounding rule — so the flag is information for you, not an automatic failure.
Are my documents used to train anything?
No. Documents are sent to the model to be read, and the results stay in your workspace. Training on customer documents is not part of how ReadInvo works.
Can it read handwriting?
Sometimes — printed invoices are far more reliable. Handwritten annotations are usually better left for review than trusted blindly.
