How credits work
The rules, in plain language.
- One page, one credit. A three-page invoice uses three credits. A one-page receipt uses one.
- You confirm before it is spent. Uploading is free; ReadInvo counts the pages and shows the cost first.
- Only usable results are charged. If a page comes back empty, it is not charged.
- Failures and retries are free. A technical failure costs nothing, and retrying a failed page never double-charges it.
- Editing and re-downloading are free. Fixing a value or exporting again does not consume credits.
- Credits last 12 months. They do not expire at the end of a billing cycle, and nothing renews automatically.
- Same engine on every pack. Quality does not depend on how much you spent.
- When credits run out, scanning pauses. Your existing documents and exports stay available.
Pricing questions
Is there a subscription?
No. ReadInvo sells credit packs, not monthly plans. Nothing auto-renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
What counts as a page?
One page of a document. A four-page invoice is four pages. If a page cannot be read and no usable data comes out, it is not charged.
Do credits expire?
They are valid for 12 months from purchase, which is far longer than a monthly cycle. They do not disappear at the end of a month.
What payment methods will you support?
Card payments through Stripe and PayPal are both planned. Checkout is not live yet during early access.
Are prices in USD?
Yes, prices are in US dollars.
What if I run out mid-batch?
The batch stops cleanly, the pages that already succeeded are kept and exported, and the rest are left ready to retry once you have more credits.
